The warehouse holds a key role in our daily operations. Our warehouse is roughly divided into three main teams. Together, these teams are responsible for the entire operational logistics within AME. The separate processes are Inbound, Intra and Outbound. As a Warehouse Supervisor you are the first point of contact for warehouse employees. It is your responsibility to work with the team and to guide them, in order to ensure smoothly running logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

As Supervisor Warehouse, you are responsible for the team’s output and high standard quality of work

• Supervising all warehouse activities and ensure efficient processes
• Maximize warehouse productivity and manage any issues handling
• Supervising the warehouse employees
• Planning daily activities of employees
• Controlling inventory
• Ensuring the quality of goods
• Acting as a first line support for any warehouse related issues
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards related to 5S
• Training new warehouse employees
• Supporting Warehouse Manager in warehouse improvement projects

Who are you?

• You’ve been working in warehouse positions for at least 5 years.
• You’ve been leading a (small) team, formally or informally.
• Good command of English language is mandatory.
• Good command of Dutch language is a plus.
• Having a solid knowledge and experience of working with SAP is considered a must.
• Having experience or knowledge with Arkoni, Orion and MES is considered a plus.
• You are not just leading the team, you are an example of how the work should be done.
• You are leading by example. Being responsible is acting where needed and letting people grow when possible.
• You have experience in handling difficult or challenging situations.
• Motivating and supporting the team, translating the AME values and DNA to all employees and going the extra mile when needed.
