Job description

As the Quality Manager at AME, your role is pivotal in ensuring that every aspect of the process from supplier to manufacturing to customers contributes to the highest quality standards of products. You are tasked with managing the end-to-end quality process and shaping the perception of quality among employees, customers and other stakeholders ultimately leading the organization to achieve excellence in quality at all levels.


Your day to day as AME’s Quality Manager

As a valuable member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and elevating our quality standards. Your daily tasks will involve developing and implementing quality strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent excellence across all departments.


You will be hands-on responsible for overseeing quality control processes, conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with various teams to align new product quality with customer expectations and regulatory requirements. You are the Quality figurehead of AME and will be in direct contact with our customers.


Your day will also include analyzing product performance data to enhance quality and customer satisfaction, working closely with suppliers to drive process improvements, staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulations, and instilling a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout our organization. You are the end responsible for internal and external audits and you make sure all relevant certifications are up to date!

Job requirements

When describing the ideal candidate for the Quality Manager role, we emphasize both hard skills and soft skills. In terms of hard skills, the following qualifications would be expected: 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Quality Manager, preferably within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry-specific quality standards
  • Experience in implementing and managing quality control processes, including inspection methods and testing protocols.

Lastly, your adeptness in planning and project management enables you to effectively handle multiple projects, including those involving change management.
