A mechanical engineer is vital for the success of a multi-disciplinary project. With multiple task and responsibilities, one day you would be working on the housing of one of our products, another on moving parts of our products or even working on injection molding matrixes. Your qualities will be fully used in an exciting and growing environment.

Your daily job

As Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for the design, analysis and validation of the mechanical components and systems for our electronic products, ensuring quality, performance and costs. You are part of a young and dynamic multidisciplinary project team.

Key responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for electronic products.
• Develop detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with the electronic engineering team to integrate mechanical and electronic systems.
• Design for manufacturability for both in-house and external manufacturing of the mechanical components.
• Design tooling for plastic injection molding.
• Ensure compliancy with relevant product standards.
• Safeguarding functionality, performance, quality and reliability by proving the design by means of analysis and modelling, simulation and/or experimental validation.
• Providing guidance to junior mechanical engineers.

As a person, you:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Have at least 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have proficiency in CAD software (e.g.: Siemens NX).
• Are capable to switch from practical to higher abstraction level.
• Have strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Have a proactive approach, hands-on mentality and take ownership and responsibility.
