Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH) Officer

Responsibilities:

In the capacity of a QESH Officer, your responsibilities encompass the domains of Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH). Each of these areas entails specific tasks and duties:

Quality:

In the realm of Quality, your role assumes both proactive and reactive dimensions. This includes leading various audits such as those pertaining to customers, ISO standards, and internal processes. Additionally, your responsibilities extend to mapping customer contracts to internal processes and diligently addressing non-conformities and compliance matters.

Environment:

Within the Environmental domain, your role becomes instrumental in supporting the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) roadmap. This involves monitoring specific compliance matters such as CMRT and CSRD, and vigilantly following up on incidents, including those with environmental implications.

Safety:

Ensuring the safety of our personnel, facilities, and guests stands as a paramount focus in your day-to-day operations. This includes executing inspections and audits, providing safety training to new employees, and actively participating in emergency response planning as a member of the BHV committee.

Health:

Parallel to safety, the health of our employees assumes a critical role. Your responsibilities in this regard span both proactive and reactive measures. This includes fulfilling the official Dutch legislative role of "preventiemedewerker" (prevention employee), actively engaging with the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E) process, conducting health-related training, and diligently following up on health-related incidents.

Job requirements

The ideal candidate for the QESH Officer position should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in a relevant field such as quality management.
  • Several years of proven experience in a QESH or Quality role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in auditing, training, and inspection activities is highly advantageous.
  • A robust affinity with the broader QESH spectrum, encompassing Environment, Safety, and Health.
