The role
As a Mechanical Engineer at AME, you play a vital role in our multidisciplinary projects. One day you might be working on product housings, the next on moving parts or injection molding tooling. Your skills will be fully used in an exciting, fast-growing environment where no two days are the same.
Your responsibilities
Design mechanical components and assemblies for electronic products.
Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
Collaborate with electronics engineers to integrate mechanics and electronics.
Ensure designs are manufacturable for both in-house and external production.
Design tooling for plastic injection molding.
Ensure compliance with relevant product standards.
Safeguard functionality, quality, and reliability through analysis, simulation, and validation.
Provide guidance to junior mechanical engineers.
Job requirements
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Proficient in CAx software (e.g., Siemens NX).
Able to switch between hands-on work and higher-level abstraction.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive, hands-on, and responsible.
Fluent in Dutch (required, for collaboration with local suppliers) and English (speaking & writing).
