Job description
As Lead Engineer – Power Electronics, you are part of the Hardware team and play a key role in leading power electronics development within AME. You support the technical direction, structure, and execution of hardware development activities in a growing power electronics domain.
You combine solid technical knowledge of power electronics with a practical, people-oriented mindset. You take the lead in development not from a hierarchical position, but by working closely with the team and being actively involved in the lab and day-to-day engineering activities. While remaining hands-on, you provide direction, overview, and structure to ensure projects move forward effectively.
In this role, you combine technical expertise with coordination and leadership from within the Hardware team. You are responsible for:
Taking technical lead in power electronics development projects
Acting as a key technical reference point for engineers
Contributing to hardware design, analysis, and technical decision-making
Guiding development priorities, planning, and execution from within the team and the la
Supporting engineers in structuring work, time management, and coordination
Maintaining overview across multiple projects and priorities
Collaborating with engineers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, progress, and dependencies
Applying and supporting agile ways of working
Participating in technical discussions and reviews, stepping in hands-on when needed
Supporting projects related to battery management systems or solar inverters (a plus, not a requirement)
Job requirements
You are a technically strong engineer who enjoys taking the lead in development while working closely with others. You are comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with guiding and supporting colleagues.

Your background includes:
Master’s degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
Solid knowledge of power electronics as a technical domain
Experience or strong affinity with leading development activities or technical coordination
Familiarity with agile ways of working
Years of experience are less important than capability, maturity, and ownership
