As a Warehouse Team Leader at AME, you are responsible for leading and coordinating a team of warehouse supervisors and logistics employees to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate operations across all warehouse processes, from inbound to outbound logistics. You play a key role in safeguarding material flow, supporting manufacturing, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the warehouse team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and engagement.

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily warehouse operations to meet performance and delivery targets.

  • Ensure effective coordination of material flows, from incoming goods to internal logistics and outbound shipments.

  • Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and quality teams to align planning and resolve issues.

  • Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement through lean principles and 5S initiatives.

  • Monitor performance, analyze results, and contribute to the optimization of warehouse processes.

Job requirements

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (or MBO level 4 with relevant experience) in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams.

  • Strong understanding of inbound, internal, and outbound logistics processes.

  • Experience with ERP or WMS systems; proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

  • Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
