Your daily job
As a Technical Project Manager at AME, you contribute to our company’s success by guiding product development projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will work closely with customers, cross-functional project teams (electronics, mechanics, and software), sales, and the factory to ensure successful project delivery.
Your projects typically begin with a customer request or assignment. Together with sales and the technical team, you develop a fitting solution for the request at hand. The final milestone of each project is a smooth and successful transfer from development to production.
To achieve this, you are responsible for managing your projects within quality, timeline, scope, and budget, including identifying and managing project risks and issues, and developing contingency plans when needed. You also coordinate project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure that project goals are met. Additionally, you communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders, including senior management, on a regular basis.
Job requirements
Who are you
Bachelor education level (BSC) is required, preferably in a technical field (electronics, mechanics, software)
At least 5 years of working experience in Project Management and product development, in a technical and/or industrial working environment;
You have a talent for leading and coordinating and take responsibility for achieving the goals;
You have a critical mindset and are able to think and act multidisciplinary;
You can communicate well with different technical specialists (electronics, mechanics and software) and people with different cultural backgrounds;
You are able to translate the project request, in cooperation with the technical team, into a realistic planning aligned with the AME’s development process.
You have proper organizational skills (structured, good planning and priority setting);
As a real team player and leader, you know how to motivate people and keep them aligned;
Excellent command of English, Dutch knowledge is a plus.
