Internship Intake Spring 2026

    • Eindhoven, Netherlands
  • AME

Job description

As an intern at AME, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, working on assignments that lay the groundwork for tomorrow’s products. Rather than building fully finished products, your efforts will help us explore new concepts, test innovative approaches, and expand our technical expertise. Your contributions will be vital in shaping future product development and strengthening our knowledge base.

What You’ll Do

• Work on Innovation Projects: Tackle engineering assignments that focus on feasibility studies, technology exploration, prototyping, and experimental development.

• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Collaborate with hardware, embedded software, and mechanical engineers to blend multiple skillsets and perspectives.

• Utilize In-House Facilities: Use our prototyping labs and development resources to experiment and validate ideas.

• Tackle Real Engineering Topics: Projects might include comparing materials, evaluating emerging technologies, or simulating new product features—the insights you provide guide our future direction.

The Value of Your Contribution

• Identify new opportunities and technical directions for AME’s future products.

• Help us validate concepts, materials, and processes before they reach production.

• Expand our knowledge base and explore the boundaries of current technology.

• Your fresh perspective is essential for driving continuous improvement and helping AME stay at the forefront of innovation.

What You’ll Gain

• Technical and Analytical Skills: Develop hands-on abilities in engineering processes, research, prototyping, and testing.

• Critical Thinking: Learn how to approach open-ended challenges, troubleshoot, and make data-driven recommendations.

• Professional and Team Experience: Benefit from mentorship, share ideas in a supportive environment, and understand how collaborative projects operate in a high-tech organization.

• Industry Perspective: See how incremental innovation and ongoing learning contribute to building high-quality, responsible products.

Our Promise

• Guidance & Resources: You’ll have access to mentorship, technical knowledge, and the tools needed to make your mark.

• Inclusive, Collaborative Atmosphere: We encourage diverse thinking and value every engineer’s input, at every step.

• Real-World Learning: Experience the process of iterative development, where every assignment is part of a larger journey of progress.
