Job description
As an Account Manager at AME, you build and develop long-term partnerships with customers while contributing to our commercial growth. We act as a technology and manufacturing partner, helping customers bring high-quality electronic products from idea to realization.
You support and grow an existing portfolio of international B2B customers while identifying new business opportunities. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you gradually take ownership of your own accounts and develop into a trusted commercial partner for your customers.
This role offers more than commercial responsibility. It gives you the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded commercial professional by combining relationship management with technical understanding, stakeholder management and project coordination. To achieve this, you work closely with colleagues across R&D, Operations, Project Management, Manufacturing and Sales to translate customer needs into realistic solutions and deliver on our promises.

Your tasks
Building customer partnerships is at the core of your role. You work closely with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities and support them throughout ongoing and future projects. At the same time, you act as the connecting link between the customer and AME, learning how to navigate our organization, involve the right stakeholders and translate customer challenges into realistic commercial and technical solutions.
Summarizing, you are responsible for:
· Building and maintaining long-term relationships with international B2B customers;
· Supporting the management and further development of existing customer accounts;
· Identifying new business opportunities across both existing and new customers;
· Understanding customer needs and translating them into realistic commercial and technical opportunities;
· Preparing and following up on quotations and commercial proposals;
· Working closely with colleagues in R&D, Operations, Project Management and Manufacturing to ensure successful project execution;
· Contributing to a smooth transfer of new projects from Sales to Project Management;
· Representing AME during customer visits, events, fairs, conferences and seminars.

You already have a solid commercial foundation and are ready to take the next step in your career. You enjoy working with different stakeholders, ask questions, take initiative and want to understand how technology, manufacturing and commercial success come together.
You will probably recognize yourself in the following:
· You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial, business or technical direction;
· You have B2B commercial experience, preferably within technical manufacturing, electronics, EMS, high-tech, industrial automation or a related environment;
· You are curious about technology and have an affinity with electronics and manufacturing;
· You enjoy working in a technical environment and are eager to broaden your commercial and technical knowledge;
· You are fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus;
· You live within a reasonable commuting distance from Eindhoven or are willing to travel to AME;
· You take initiative, are curious by nature and enjoy connecting people.
