This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment, combining creative engineering design with real-world production constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical design of components, systems, and assemblies in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA).
Produce detailed 2D drawings and documentation with a strong command of GD&T and design for manufacturing (DFM).
Translate product requirements into innovative mechanical solutions while balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Collaborate with product managers and R&D to shape early-stage concepts into viable engineering designs.
Perform tolerance analysis, basic FEA, and design optimization.
Develop CAM toolpaths (or support CAM team) to validate manufacturability and optimize CNC processes.
Interface with production and suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained through to manufacturing.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering with exposure to CAM and CNC processes.
Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, CATIA).
Working knowledge of CAM tools (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, NX CAM) and an understanding of CNC machining.
Hands-on experience with design reviews, BOMs, and product documentation.
Familiar with engineering standards and design validation practices.
Creative, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
