The role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of our projects by designing, optimizing, and delivering durable embedded solutions. With relevant experience, you are ready to take ownership, contribute ideas, and make an impact in challenging projects within a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for microcontrollers (C/C++) and embedded Linux systems.
Work on kernel, bootloaders, and system-level development (Yocto, low-level debugging).
Contribute to specifications, feasibility studies, and risk management.
Ensure system robustness and security (CVE analysis, privilege separation).
Collaborate across disciplines (electronics, mechanics, software) in multidisciplinary teams.
Drive improvements in development practices, testing, and integration (CI/CD, Docker).
Integrate cybersecurity requirements and ensure compliance with RED and other relevant standards.
Job requirements
Your profile
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in embedded software engineering.
Strong skills in C/C++, embedded Linux, and ARM-based architectures.
Experience with security concepts and system optimization.
Hands-on, proactive, and eager to take responsibility.
Fluent in English, Dutch it’s a plus
Nice-to-have
Python programming, RF technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Control systems, simulation, or modeling.
