Your role:

As Team Leader Manufacturing, you lead a team of approximately 25 operators in the Mechanical Manufacturing department, as well as 10 Service Engineers in our Service department. You will be their first point of contact and it is your responsibility to hire and guide team members. You are supporting our Production Manager/Operations Manager for the organization and coordination of all production processes and activities, taking into account planning, on time delivery, quality and process compliance.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Organizing and maintaining detailed (daily) production and service planning per assigned work center;
  • Maintaining contact with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Decision making in order to ensure continuation of production;
  • Ensuring that the work is executed following the respective quality control standards;
  • Ensuring the tidiness (5S) of the assigned work center;
  • Achieving production and service performance targets (KPIs);
  • Determining quality control standards in the work center;
  • Detection and on-time communication about (potential) problems that could influence the delivery and/or quality towards Production Manager/Operations Manager;
  • Hiring, training, onboarding and evaluating the team members per assigned work center. Total overview of your department.
